There has been, however, an impressive cake which required fawncy skillz I have not used in a long time. There was melting of chocolate.
There was sifting.
There was creaming.
There was hot and ice water.
There was the Making of Icing.
There was the Utter and Complete Trashing of my kitchen, which I thankfully do not have a photo of.
I think it was worth it.
